Department Introduction

══════════════════════ Department of Public Affairs, commonly abbreviated DoPA, is responsible for greeting new players and offering tours around the city, and hosting events in aim of increasing player retention.

Senior Management Duties

══════════════════════ [ @Minister ] Public Affairs Minister is the head of the department, mainly deployed on:

  • Supervising the department employees and ensuring work is continuous and carried out at high standards
  • Supervising Senior employees and handing out tasks to them
  • Ensuring tours are being completed by members of the department, appropriately and professionally
  • Managing key events, such as: Inauguration, the Olympics, etc
  • Carrying any new legislation in Parliament relating to the department
  • Officiating the government at meetings and functions on special occasions
  • Authorizing final executive approval and policies in the department
  • Tracking DoPA spending and earnings

[ @Deputy Minister ] Deputy Public Affairs Minister will have the capacity to act as Minister in the event the Minister is unable to perform the duties or has delegated the responsibilities for a period of time. (The Acting/Deputy Minister must be a member from the Senior DoPA team) [ @Sr. Community Coordinator ] A Senior Community Coordinator is the most senior rank of the CC's, mainly deployed on:

  • Managing and supervising CC's in the department
  • Aiding in approval in application progress
  • Overseeing assigned projects
  • Handling pay for tours and events
  • Keeping track of CC activity
  • Monitoring CC events to ensure they are at a high standard
  • Managing theme events for the DoPA park
  • Carrying out training with new CC's, as well as handing out department script links and informing of the rules

Department Employee Duties

══════════════════════ [ @Community Coordinator ] Community Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Planning and executing events at a high standard
  • Gathering player feedback on events to improve on future events
  • Helping new and current players with general queries in any public chat they see
  • Working on large projects assigned by the Senior CC or Minister
  • Planning and hosting all sorts of events and fun activities, from movie and game nights, (which are hosted in the main BC Discord) to in game events such as, (but not limited to) spleef, hide and seek, horse racing and so much more.
  • Help new, (and sometimes oldest) members of our community, with tours around our vibrant capital and cities.
