== Gunsmith Basics ==
As a Gunsmith, you have the ability to craft and sell firearms and ammo. Any player may buy a gun, but they must first get a [[weapons permit]] to use it. Even though a gunsmith can craft guns, they also need to get a weapons permit before they can use a gun.

There are 5 types of ammo: Buckshot, 7.62x39mm, 5.56 NATO, 9mm as well as the MiniNuke. There are also 61 guns (excluding paintball guns) including variants. 4 of these are crates blessings guns. They are called this because they require crates blessings to be crafted, which can only be found in the Mega and Ultra Crates.

== Crafting Guns ==
To get started, you may do /Kit Gunsmith. This will aid you in starting out!

Firearms are crafted using the command ‘/qa craft’ which then brings up a menu to select which firearm to craft. Due to how the crafting works, please make sure that you have enough of each material '''in a single stack''' in your inventory.

Firearms typically can be crafted with a custom item from the gunsmith shop, iron, and redstone. In some cases however, other materials such as wood planks, blaze powder, or gold may be used in crafting. The gunsmith shop can be found behind the Capital Transportation Hub Bus stop at coords x32 z1906.

Ammo is necessary to utilize a firearm. Gunsmiths have the ability to craft ammo to use. Most ammunition requires iron ingots, redstone and gunpowder. Some ammo types may require different materials to craft.

A Gun licence can be obtained by passing an exam at the gunsmith shop. Firearms can be used to hunt hostile mobs, in self-defense, and consented PvP. To be able to use them you will need to take the firearms permit exam. The Gun Licence qualification was mentioned earliest on Jun, 4th 2021.

If you murder a player with a firearm and they did not consent you will be charged like normal and it will count as a strike on your record. After 3 strikes your license will be revoked and you will be barred from retaking the exam until you appeal. To appeal go to “[https://www.mcbusinesscraft.com/forum/forums/firearm-permit-reinstatement-appeals.173/ Firearm Permit Reinstatement Appeals]” under the Government Applications section on the forums and create a new thread for your appeal titled <u>(Your Name)’s Firearm Ban Appeal.</u> If your appeal is accepted you will need to pay a 750 kruna processing fee before you can retake the exam. The next revocation comes at 5 strikes. If you get to this point you will have to get your criminal record cleared. You can do this by posting a lawsuit titled (Your name) Removal of Criminal Record. Your record will only be cleared if the last crime you committed was over 3 months ago. Once your record has been cleared you can repeat the same process to appeal that you did for 3 strikes.

Ministers in the Republic of Stratham wield significant authority, enabling them to create, amend, and repeal Departmental policy. This authority extends to the appointment and removal of department members, as well as the creation, amendment, and removal of relevant jobs within their portfolio. However, Ministers are restricted from formulating policies that contradict the powers defined in the Constitution.

The Republic of Stratham is divided into various Departments, each with distinct responsibilities.

These include the:

Department of State (DoS), overseeing foreign affairs, elections, audits, city/town relations, and political and news organizations;

Department of Economy (DoE), managing the overall economic performance, government shops, jobs and exams, business grants, and tax policies;

Department of Justice (DoJ), ensuring peace and order through law enforcement;

Department of Public Affairs (DoPA), handling events, community feedback, election debates, social media, and new player tours;

Department of Internal Development (DoID), overseeing construction, welfare of the wilderness, the animal shelter, national food service, and handling animal cruelty reports.
