══════════════════════ [ @Minister ] Public Affairs Minister is the head of the department, mainly deployed on:

* Supervising the department employees and ensuring work is continuous and carried out at high standards
* Supervising Senior employees and handing out tasks to them
* Ensuring tours are being completed by members of the department, appropriately and professionally
* Managing key events, such as: Inauguration, the Olympics, etc
* Carrying any new legislation in Parliament relating to the department
* Officiating the government at meetings and functions on special occasions
* Authorizing final executive approval and policies in the department
* Tracking DoPA spending and earnings

[ @Deputy Minister ] Deputy Public Affairs Minister will have the capacity to act as Minister in the event the Minister is unable to perform the duties or has delegated the responsibilities for a period of time. (The Acting/Deputy Minister must be a member from the Senior DoPA team) [ @Sr. Community Coordinator ] A Senior Community Coordinator is the most senior rank of the CC's, mainly deployed on:

* Managing and supervising CC's in the department
* Aiding in approval in application progress
* Overseeing assigned projects
* Handling pay for tours and events
* Keeping track of CC activity
* Monitoring CC events to ensure they are at a high standard
* Managing theme events for the DoPA park
* Carrying out training with new CC's, as well as handing out department script links and informing of the rules

* Gathering player feedback on events to improve on future events
* Helping new and current players with general queries in any public chat they see
* Working on large projects assigned by the Senior CC or Minister
* Planning and hosting all sorts of events and fun activities, from movie and game nights, (which are hosted in the main BC Discord) to in game events such as, (but not limited to) spleef, hide and seek, horse racing and so much more.
* Help new, (and sometimes oldest) members of our community, with tours around our vibrant capital and cities.

On November 23rd, 2023, at 12:35pm, BC Owner Koalition announced the creation of the new constitution, which merged two departments into the DoID. On December 1st, all edits were finalized and the new constitution came into full force, bringing the DoID into existence. By the 12th of December, the DoC and DoA discords had been fully merged and a new seal was released to represent the infant department. The first DoID Minister, Mickichu, was appointed by the first Prime Minister following the temporary stint of the council of ministers. She came into office on December 10th, 2023. Between the 21st and 30th of that same month, the new National Food Service and Farming District were both released.

In January of 2024, the DoID announced the release of the new animal shelter, which operated flawlessly until February, when some logistical issues with the Shelter NPC, Julio, lead to his removal and the reinstatement of rangers as adoption agents.

In March of 2024, the new city districts were released, On May 1st, 2024, the Capitol building was pasted into the new map.

During the period after that the major focus of the department was on Paste requests, however the gun shop and mall was pasted in towards the end of July 2024!

Upon the 2nd minister term, an Executive order was issued to make building paste materials be gathered or purchased from the community, as well as the Prime Minister Residence was pasted in, Unfortunately the Minister became inactive due to real life circumstances and resigned on the 29th of September

Tesco Inc. is one of the largest and longest-running companies on Business Craft. It started in June 2020 as a small shop on the bottom floor of the Central Market Mall, created by ''Pastel_Ghost'' (formerly known as Holly_Michelle). Initially, the shop sold farming and mining supplies, along with some limited stock items like Elytras and crate goods. Over the summer of 2020, Tesco gained popularity, moving to a higher spot in the Central Market Mall and opening its first major store, called “Big Tesco.” This store had five floors and offered the widest variety of products on the server. By the end of 2020, Tesco had become a key player in the Business Craft economy, acquiring additional buildings in the city. These included a store where players could sell any item and another with over 600 different products. Tesco earned the Business Craft Choice Award for Company of the Year that same year. Tesco expanded to other cities, opening locations in Ocean City, Lexford, Covington, Orico, Palm Bay, and even the unofficial City of Blackwater. Tesco has been present in every version of the government mall and recently moved to a new location close to City spawn, where it has its largest store yet. Tesco’s history has also involved some controversy. Since the beginning, the company has been stocked entirely by its CEO, which caused issues with past Exclusive Sales Laws. These laws required Tesco to hire employees just to comply, even though the company opposed such regulations. Despite these challenges, Tesco remains a strong presence on the server.
